Marin and Allison met each other in Malibu, California in the summer of 1999. Fresh out of college, they instantly recognized something wonderful in each other and a friendship grew. For seven years they blazed a path across large parts of the western and southern United States along with a large part of Asia. After four years of living in Japan, they decided to return to the good ol' USA.

As of August of 2006, they decided to make their home in Dresden, Ohio. Great scenery and even better people made Dresden a perfect place to run an international Bed and Breakfast. Always happy to make new friends, both Allison and Marin have known for a long time that being innkeepers would be the perfect living for the both of them.

Allison is from Oklahoma, where she won many state and national beauty contests and cultivated a love for meeting new people and world travel.

Marin, while never winning a beauty contest, still likes meeting new people and traversing the globe. He is lucky enough to be from the Hawaiian island of Maui.
